12 Week Treatment Scholarships For Those Battling MS

Multiple sclerosis is the most widespread disabling neurological condition in young adults around the world. As a matter a fact, 200 new MS cases are diagnosed every week in the US alone!

Linda E. Cardinale battled MS, and is truly an inspiration to us all as a leader in helping those that have also been dealing with the deadly illness. Because of her efforts, The Linda E. Cardinale MS Center offers a 12-week comprehensive program that is designed to address physical and psychological issues associated with MS.

*The Linda E. Cardinale MS Center is located right here in New Jersey, and offers a wellness program that is the first of its kind on the east coast.
The center is located at: 901 W Main St, Freehold, NJ 07728*

WOW! We've reached our goal to help 12 locals battling MS receive  treatment at at the Linda. E Cardinale MS Center. There's no way we could have done this without the help of our customers and business partners!

The life-affirming program helps strengthen mind and body through:

Education:
Patients learn about best nutrition practices for those with MS, how to manage stress and deal with continence issues, and how to avoid depression.

Aquatics:
A cool-water pool, buoys, and other water resistance tools are provided to help patients build strength and improve balance. The program also offers non-certification scuba classes, which help patients improve their balance, while having fun!

Exercise:
Group classes for patients help them to improve movement and increase flexibility through various seated exercises, weightlifting, strength and conditioning, T’ai Chi, and Pilates techniques.

Unfortunately, insurance coverage does not extend to this condition or its medical treatments. It costs a patient $120 to participate in the 12 week MS Wellness Program. That’s why we are on a mission to raise $1,500 in scholarship funds to provide 12 locals to participate.
